Our Reddit community tends to be full of users with great ideas and feedback to share. The Chyrpe Team appreciates this deeply, as it offers an opportunity to improve the application further for our community.
This post serves as a small update regarding features that were requested and introduced or are in development.
1. Show Verification Status
A key reason why Chyrpe works well is that mandatory verification keeps hundreds of the worst and most egregious scammers and blackmailers at bay, daily.
The app, however, did not use to show that a user was verified. It now does, ensuring transparency regarding confirmed user identities.
2. Roles Filter
Many users wished to be able to filter other users by role preferences, such as dominant, submissive or switch.
This feature has been added.
3. The Kink Section
In order to ensure that even people new to FLRs (Female-Led Relationships) and femdom can explore the application without being overwhelmed, kink was always kept out of profiles.
After user requests to be able to share preferences, a kink section was added, in which users can select their preferences.
Kink is only discussed on Chyrpe when both matched users are comfortable with it and the woman or female-identifying user explicitly invites this conversation.
4. Filters in “Liked you” Tab
Many women who use Chyrpe reached out to us and asked to have more filters for their“Liked you” Tab to have an easier time finding matches that they are interested in.
This has been added to the application, now allowing likes to be filtered across a multitude of metrics.
5. Undo button
Many users requested a button that would allow them to undo a dislike.
This button has been added and is available in the application.
6. Translations
A multitude of users requested that Chyrpe to be available in more languages.
The app has since been fully translated from English into French, Spanish andGerman, with more languages pending.
1. Sexuality Display
Going forward, sexual preferences, if intended by the user, will be displayed clearly. This will make Chyrpe even more transparent and inclusive.
2. Improved Chat Moderation
While chat moderation has been a feature with significant positive feedback, particularly from female users, it has been overly strict at times.
Moderation is being reworked to be more flexible and to give even more control to the women of Chyrpe.
3. Free Likes
Many users have requested more likes for the free version.
Another round of testing will start with increased like counts.
4. Picture Hiding until Match
Some users expressed their desire to keep their identities concealed until a match has taken place.
This feature already exists within the app in some way. In the profile sections, if sufficient pictures are on the profile, one can select them to be hidden untila match is created.
This feature will be improved and made more prominent.
5. Improved Hobby Selection
The current hobby list is missing some common hobbies. These will be supplemented.
6. Distance and Age Filters
Users have requested more manual control over these ranges. This will be amended to reflect user wishes.
While we do not expressly talk about progress often. Chyrpe’s team works hard to make user recommendations and wishes a reality every day. Your success and happiness are our number one priority. The app hopefully speaks for itself.
