The holiday season isn’t just about chocolates and mistletoe: some Chyrpe users are turning their festive spirit into erotic gift-giving. A new Chyrpe study reveals which countries, regions, and cities are most enthusiastic about the gifting kink, showing that when it comes to kinky Christmas cheer, some users truly lead the sleigh.
Key points
The French are the biggest Gifters
Nearly 6% of global Chyrpe users report a gifting kink, but it’s the French who really embrace it this holiday season. With 6.4% of French users selecting gifting as a kink, they top the international charts. The United States and Canada follow closely, while German-speaking countries are more reserved: Austria reports only 3.5%. Linguistic analysis confirms that French speakers are the most enthusiastic gifters, followed by English (6.2%), Spanish (5.3%), and German speakers (4.6%).

Women Lead in Erotic Gift-Giving
Globally, women are sleighing the competition in erotic gift-giving. 8% of female users report gifting as a kink, compared to 5.3% of men. Across age groups, interest remains steady, though there’s a slight decline among the 55–64 bracket: women drop from 8.4% at 45–54 to 7.4% at 55–64.

Regional differences in the UK
In the UK, the further north you go, the stronger the gifting spirit. Northern Ireland tops the charts at 7.8%, while Wales is lowest at 5.4%. Among cities, Aberdeen leads globally with 14% of users interested in gifting, followed by Leicester (13.6%), Birmingham (12.2%), Cardiff (11.1%), and London (10.2%). Newcastle is on the lower end at 3.5%.

Where the Gifters live in the US
In the United States, erotic gift-giving shines brightest in Arkansas (8.5%), Maine (8.3%), and Nebraska (7.8%). The kink is generally stronger in western and northwestern states. Delaware (4.8%), North Dakota (4.8%), and Nevada (4.9%) show the lowest percentages.
